What a frontend engineer actually owns

A frontend engineer owns everything the user touches in the browser. They take a design and build the real thing — layout, forms, navigation, animations, client-side state, the lot. Then they wire it to your API, keep it fast, keep it accessible, and make it behave the same in Chrome, Safari and on a mid-range Android phone. Frontend engineer vs full-stack engineer

A frontend engineer goes deep on the browser — rendering speed, accessibility, complex UI state, design systems. A full-stack engineer covers browser and server, usually at less depth on each. Hire a frontend specialist when the interface is the hard part of your product.

Frontend engineer vs UI designer
